I totally love Taylor Momsen's over the top rocker wardrobe and i don't give a **** attitude. She may seem outrageous but she is a walking advertisement for teen fashion that reflects anti establishment values. Always in black, she cleverly accessorises and accents her look with ripped tights and eye grabbing lengthy platinum blonde locks. Her style is goth with a rocker twist. She is frequently seen wearing lace and hosiery that is slashed and worn to reflect the wear and tear of every day life. Lace tights are an emerging trend that I see on teens. Momsen helped escalate this trend into the mainstream. She pulls off the just rolled out of bed look, which is clearly a contrast because her clothes are incredibly detailed and well thought out. Although some may say she is a bad role model for teens, I love her I don't care attitude which is reflected in her style.
